TE Activities: For nearly every TE activity, there are
several nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies that
may be useful resources for TE sponsors, managers, and
interested citizens.
State Web sites: Most state Departments of Transportation
have a webpage dedicated to TE activities that explains the
state-specific particulars of the TE program, including
eligibility issues, the application process, and funding
guidelines. The Federal Highway Administration also has a
TE
Web site where you can directly access TE related
transportation legislation.
National Organizations: TE is a federal transportation
activity funded through federal surface transportation
legislation. In addition to many of the groups listed under the
specific TE activities, several trade associations and nonprofit
organizations work on shaping TE as a part of federal
transportation policy.
